Privacy policy

This policy describes exactly what Neptabolt does with personal information submitted through this website. It is written to match how the site is actually built, not as a generic template.

1. What we collect

This website collects personal information in one place only: the contact form. When you submit it, we receive the details you chose to enter — your name, email address, optionally your company name and budget range, the service you selected, and the message you wrote.

Your IP address is processed transiently when you submit the form, solely to apply rate limiting so the form cannot be abused for spam. It is held in server memory for a short window and is not written to a database or included in the email we receive.

What we do not collect

  • No analytics or tracking. This site runs no analytics platform, no advertising pixels, no session recording and no fingerprinting.
  • No tracking cookies. We set no cookies at all. The site stores a single item in your browser’s localStorage — your light or dark theme preference — which never leaves your device and is not personal information.
  • No third-party embeds. No social widgets, no embedded video players, no externally hosted fonts. Web fonts are served from our own domain.

2. How we use it

We use the information you submit to answer your enquiry and, if it leads somewhere, to discuss and scope the work. That is the entire purpose. We do not use it for marketing lists, we do not sell or rent it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.

Our lawful basis for processing is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated, and — where the conversation progresses — taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract.

3. Who else processes it

Two service providers necessarily handle your submission on our behalf:

  • Vercel Inc. — hosts this website and runs the server code that receives your form submission.
  • Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) — delivers the submission to our inbox as an email.

Both act as processors under our instructions. The resulting email then sits in our ordinary business email account. Depending on where these providers operate, your information may be transferred outside your country of residence; such transfers rely on the safeguards those providers have in place, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted from our inbox within 24 months. Where an enquiry becomes a project, the correspondence is retained for the life of the engagement and for as long afterwards as we are required to keep business records for tax and legal purposes, then deleted.

Rate-limiting records containing your IP address expire automatically within minutes and are never persisted.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to receive it in a portable format. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these, email info@neptabolt.com. We will respond within one month. Because the only information we hold is the message you sent us and our replies to it, deletion requests are usually straightforward and we will confirm once it is done.

6. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated and rate limited on the server, and access to our email account is protected by multi-factor authentication. No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, so please do not send passwords, credentials, or highly sensitive commercial detail through the contact form — ask us for an NDA and a secure channel first.

7. Children

This is a business-to-business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles personal information, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above. Material changes affecting people who have already contacted us will be communicated directly where we have a means of doing so.
